Coffee#1 Welsh Back is my favourite coffee shop in Bristol. It’s located right by Queen Square, a lovely Georgian square in central Bristol.

Coffee#1 is a chain and so the quality of the coffee varies depending on who is serving you. I find it’s consistently better than the big three in the UK (Costa, Caffe Nero, and Starbucks).

Coffee#1 is located right by Queen Square, my favourite area in Bristol. In the summer, there are often people relaxing on the grass, playing volleyball, or frisbee. In the winter, the cobbled roads are wet and reflect the light from brass lamps.

Coffee#1 has a good range of armchairs and sofas available, as well as standard wooden chairs. It’s a good place to work or meet a friend.

In 2017, I met a friend here to practice for an interview for my first ever programming job.

I like to work in coffee shops. I don’t need to worry about using my laptop in Coffee#1 as it is a chain and the cafes aren’t small.
